Is it paranoia to be concerned with my online privacy, the protection of my identity (my browsing history, my social connections, my purchases, etc)?

Who in the world actually cares about me or what I am doing?

Is that the point of securing privacy? Protection from snoopers, investigators, analyzers…

The individual is not important - rather, the collective assimilation and statistical analysis of behavior, so that it may be sold.

“Sold” is broad. Not all sales are for money. Perhaps “bartered” is more appropriate, as it is really an exchange for something of value.
